Our Roots.

My name is Caity Cassidy. I was born and raised in Chicago, but Ireland has always lived in me. As someone of Irish heritage, I grew up longing to return to the land my family came from. When I finally visited, something shifted. I felt a deep, ancestral energy, like the land recognized me. It was the first time I truly felt home.

Two years later, I now live in Ireland, embracing the culture and walking the same ground my ancestors once did.

Mylie Molloy, my partner in love, life, and business, was born in the West of Ireland but spent time living in New York City, where he found comfort in Irish communities like Woodlawn and Sunnyside. There, the diaspora didn’t just remember where they came from, they rebuilt it.

Together, we created Sacred Soil from that shared understanding: that Ireland isn’t just a place. It’s something you carry with you.

We started this business to help others connect with Irish land in their own sacred moments: a baby’s first steps, a wedding, a farewell, a new home. Each handpicked shamrock and jar of real Irish soil is a small but powerful symbol:
a piece of home, when you need it most.

It’s more than soil.
It’s belonging.
It’s remembrance.
It’s home, wherever you are.
